You are looking at a 1920's South Bend Malleable wood, coal cook stove. It was manufactured by the Malleable Steel Range MFG. CO. South Bend IND. USA. # 4181. It is in good condition for it's age. It is a six burner plate stove with an oven and two worming ovens. Everything works on the stove except the thermometer is broken on the front of the oven. The doors and latches work nice. the fire box and grates look good. The grate shaker works. It has two lines on the back that are for a hot water tank hookup. THe chrome shines ok but it is pitted and the ceramic on the stove is nice except for one spot on the back as seen in the pictures. The stove is in good working condition and would make a great addition to any Kitchen. Great for decoration or hook it up and use it.
