1920's Steamer Wardrobe Trunk, Beautiful & Elaborate Here we have an amazing pair of items, a big yellow steamer trunk from the 1920's manufactured by Aero-Pak, made from wood, leather, steel, brass. Designed to carry your wardrobe on location as well as live out of it for a month or longer. Metal armature compresses your clothes during the voyage and swings out of the trunk to extend the number of items you can hang. At the bottom, a separate compartment hold tow pairs of shoes. Comes with over a dozen original wooden hangers in three different shapes. Six drawers hold your other clothes, including a top drawer (shows with key) for smaller and more delicate items, which is split in three compartments, the center one being covered in velvet. All the interior surfaces are covered with a olive drab colored herringbone cloth. Chrome plated handles on all the drawer-pulls. Slightly musty smell from age. 41"x29"x22"The dark brown stripes on the outside corners of the trunk are leather, held on by brass tacks; all the latches work, the read more
