Up for bids we have a unique lot of 1920's movie memorabilia including magazine pictures, brochures, and movie advertisements. I am not an expert on this stuff but will try to explain items to the best of my ability and answer any questions you might have. All items in this lot are paper, condition varies. Buyer to pay $5.00 for priority mail shipping within the USA, insurance is optional. All items are sold as is so please email if you have any questions or if you would like additional pics.
Included in this lot:
1. Promotional brochure advertising a book titled "The Truth About the Movies" written "by the stars" distributed by Hollywood Publishing Company. Brochure features pictures of Constance Talmadge and Mae Murray. no date that I can see
2. Small movie advertisement for "the Virginian" starring Kenneth Harlan, Florence Vidor, Russell Simpson, and Pat O'Malley, Preferred Pictures, stamped "Adler's Lyric 3 days starting Wed. Oct 31"
3. Advertisement for "My Best Girl" starring Mary Pickford. great condition, no date
4. (4) pages from a 1920's movie magazine, they have been ripped out, pictures of Bobby Vernon, Rodolph Valentino, Lon Chaney, Valentine Churchill, and Charlie Chaplin
5. (3) pages from "Pictorial Review" dated 1920... color pictures of Constance Talmadge, Lillian Gish, and Pearl White (paintings done by Haskell Coffin) These have been ripped out of a magazine and are in fair condition, all have been slightly damaged near the bottom of the page
6. fold out Advertisement for "Peter Pan" featuring Betty Bronson, "Screen Scrapbook" no date
7. LARGE fold out promotional ad for "Why Worry" featuring Harold Lloyd. Very nice movie poster, no date indicated, t is some small pencil writing on the front (see pic)
