Sentinel Butte, N. Dak. Fascinating lot of vintage memorabilia from Sentinel Butte, North Dakota. Included are the following items: Real Photograph Postcard - front shows a group of people in vintage dress with the following inscription on the bottom:"10 Volunteers from Sentinel Butte N.D. ~ Three Cheers for the Red White and Blue ~ Welch Photo ~ Beach N.D." It would appear that the 10 men who are standing in the forefront of the photo volunteered to fight in WWI. The stamp box on the back was used on postcards from 1904 to 1918. Light soiling but otherwise very good unused condition. Real Photo Post Card - shows members of the Sentinel Butte High School Basketball Team. Dated 1919 ~ 1920. Stamp box on this card was in use from 1910 to 1930. Card has creases and light soiling but otherwise has not been used. Real Photo Postcard - picture shows what appears to be a rodeo taking place on a flat prairie with a row of mountains in the background. Since this card was found with the previous two and since the mountains match photos that I found on the web of Sentinel Butte, I'm guessing that this is from that same area. Real Photo PC of Cowboys standing in front of a white tent with a bit of the butte showing in the background. This same tent can be seen in the previous photo. Has some light soiling. Sentinel Butte High School - 2 invitations
