UNCONDITIONALLY GUARANTEED AUTHENTIC ! 8 1/2" x 11" sheet of yellow stationary has green art image at the top with Tarzan wrestling a spotted leopard as Jane lies frightened on the ground. Green and red text promotes the 1921 movie Serial and reads " ADVENTURES OF TARZAN 15 Electrifying episodes starring Elmo Lincoln from the concluding chapters of The Return of Tarzan by Edgar Rice Burroughs Masterpiece Film Attractions" with a Vine street Philadelphia address. Body of letter is typewritten, dated Feb. 11, 1922 with contract list for distribution of the film "SMILES" to the Chamberlain Amusement Co. in Shamokin Pa. Signed in ink by B. Harris of Masterpiece Film Attractions. Condition: Sheet has 2 handling folds as mailed, bottom third of sheet is wrinkled with scattered small tears . Top promo image area is clean. Good-Very Good appearance. An early and unique Tarzan promotional item. Obviously issued in 1921 and still being used in 1922 ! Ca lifornia bidders to pay 7.50 % state sales tax.
