For your consideration ...... a 1921 P Morgan Dollar PL, with nice mirrors and the extra berry on the reverse associated with the Zerbe strike Morgans. The endless controversy over the Zerbe strike makes it impossible to say this is, in fact, a coin struck with the Zerbe dies. Some sellers will call any 17-berry 1921 Morgan a "Zerbe proof reverse" but that's a stretch in my book. That's not to say they are or they aren't, but it's almost impossible to say for sure without further attributes and documentation.Regardless of all that, though, p roof-like Morgans from this year are quite rare, and the 17-berry reverse makes them rarer still. This coin features a frosty Liberty in the hair and forehead area, though the contrast isn't enough to call it a cameo PL. Mirrors for PL 1921s are notoriously weak, though the mirrors in this one are relatively strong compared to others from this year.
