Tracing its origins back to the Mint Act of 1873 and the Bland-Allison Act of 1878, this silver dollar has deep historical roots. Named after its designer, George T. Morgan, this 1921 Morgan Dollar is the last year the coin was minted in the Morgan Dollar series, which was minted from 1878 to 1904, and then again in 1921. Interestingly, as a representation of liberty, this silver dollar depicts an American woman, presumably Miss Anna W.
