1921 ROOKWOOD GREEN MATTE INCISED POPPY ART CRAFTS VASE. I haven't seen this Poppy Floral vase on Ebay before,so I believe it is a hard to find design. Rookwood is the most favored of all American Art Pottery and this one is really a beauty. The rich green matte glaze and the Flowers at the top all the way around with each having a stem that runs from flower petals down the entire vase to the bottom . It was made in 1921 and is in excellent condition. It is approximately 10-3/4" tall and mouth is 4" in diameter.T are a few tiny smudge marks looks like pen marks & a couple of tiny dots of silver like paint, you have to look very closely to see them, i just thought i'll menchon it. It may come off with cleaning, I'm afraid to try it. The Matte dark green finish is gorgeous, highlighted by the flowers and running stems. T are No chips No cracks No repairs. Marked on the bottom XXI 2423 and the R rookwood mark symbol.I took pictures of the vase inside the house and outside on the deck as shown A beautiful addition to any collection! No reserve!!
