Hello! This auction is for a Vega Little Wonder Banjo Mandolin S/n#43816 dated to 1921. This thing is in extremely good condition for its age. It has slight wear on the back of the neck, but it really gives awesome character to the birds eye maple neck. The neck is bound with white binding all intact. Rosewood strip running down back of neck. Rosewood neck cap piece that is bound. Rosewood headstock veneer and maple pot. MOP dot inlays. Original Vega Hardware except tuners which have been added quite recently it looks. Head was replaced sometime ago I believe due to the fact the top is discolored from play wear. The neck and frets are real good and great for playing without issue. I do not have a case for it, but I'm very particular about instrument care and especially for this geriatric example. This will be shipped bomb-proof!!! I would not be getting rid of this had tuition not been so high, so whomever this goes to, enjoy it! This is a very vintage, loud, and great sounding player!
