Henri Alphonse Barnoin (1882-1940) was a French artist known for his oil, watercolor and pastel paintings of fishermen, coastal seascapes and landscapes. This auction is for an authentic pastel by Henri Barnoin which is signed and dated in the lower right hand corner "H. Barnoin 1922." Measuring 21" by 25," this pastel depicts several fishermen in their boats. It comes framed under glass in an antique 24 ¼" by 28 ½" gold painted frame. There is some surface wear to this frame and there is also a water-stain along the very bottom edge of the pastel. There are no other problems or any restorations to this authentic 1922 Henri Barnoin Pastel and you will find that this auction has no reserve!......
