You are looking at a first edition of a lovely Arthur Rackham illustrated copy of HAWTHORNE'S WONDER BOOK. � Published in 1922 by Hodder & Stoughton. � Measures 10" by 7.5" 207 pages. Decorated endpapers. � With 24 colour Rackham illustrations (most tipped in with tissue guards) throughout the book. � The maroon red boards are in good condition and the gilt decoration on the front board is like new. � The spine however is damaged with the cloth peeling back a bit along the left edge of the spine. � also bumping to edges and corners. � Inside, the pages are clean and bright and the binding is holding though loosening. � Please feel free to email with any questions about this stunning book. really lovely illustrations by the master. � Sorry for the blurry photos - my camera is on its last legs - imagine the book in focus.
