The coin shown is the coin that will be sent. Look at the photos of this terrific coin. This is a nice, high grade, 1922 Peace Silver Dollar. It would be a superb addition to anyone’s collection. It was graded as Choice BU by the dealer I purchased it from 40 years ago. You decide what its grade is today and bid accordingly. Good luck in your bidding. 40 years ago I bought a selection of different Morgan and Peace dollars. I put them in albums and then when an attempted burglary occurred at my house, put the albums in a safe deposit box for safe keeping. They have been in the safe deposit box for about 35 years. The dealer from whom I purchased the coins called them all “Choice BU.” As I recall, back then many dealers mostly used the three descriptive terms to grade their coins: BU, Choice BU, and Gem BU without using a numbered scale. Other dealers would use a combination of descriptors and numbers. Still other dealers would use only the Sheldon 70-point scale exclusively. Today things have changed, and the Sheldon Scale is used by most dealers. Also Choice and Gem don’t necessarily mean what they used to mean. I don’t know exactly what the dealer, forty years ago, meant by “Choice BU”. So, if you are interested in this coin from that batch, I leave it up to you to determine its grade. Again, Best of Luck in your bidding.
