Anderson Selma, NC. 27576 Ph# #AW120312A 1922 University of Illinois, Red Grange Signed, Athletic Coaching Book There is a lot to this so please bear with me. This is a University of Illinois book given to potential students in the Four Year Athletic Coaching and Physical Education program. At the top of the first page it is signed by Red Grange. The book measures 9 1/2 x 13 inches and is 45 pages. There is water damage on the cover and a few small tears. Now for what is inside!! As stated page 2 has the autograph of Red Grange. There is also a page on George Huff and a page with the coaches including Zuppke, Winters, Manley and Staley among others. There are many pictures of buildings on campus and a artist rendering of the soon to be built Memorial Stadium with details. Each team gets a section of photos and included are 2 newspaper pages on the death in 1980 of Ray Eliot. One written by Loren Tate. This will be shipped in an archival sleeve between cardboard.
