1922 WHITING, REPOUSSE, Round 10" STERLING SILVER TRAY

Fresh from an estate that has been packed away for more than 20 years -- is this GORGEOUS, UNIQUE AND RARE REPOUSSE STERLING SILVER SERVING TRAY. The tray measures approx. 10" long and approx. 1" high to top of the tray (tray sits on a round raised base (see photos). This is a wonderful item, with its floral and scroll edge design, waved edge rim around the tray, and little raised foot base. It is in excellent condition - we find no dents, bends, cracks, etc. The tray has a Monogram in the center, i.e., "TC" in old english, which is very attractive. Tray was made by the Whiting Manufacturing Co. in 1922 prior to the company being bought by GORHAM SILVER in 1924. After the tray was cleaned and polished, we couldn't believe the beauty -- just gorgeous!! Absolutely wonderful addition to any table, buffet or sterling collection. We couldn't find another tray like this one on Ebay -- so GOOD LUCK BIDDING and HAPPY EBAYING.
