***Another Great CoinPoint Auction***Great Value / Scarce In High Grades***Reserve Prices Always Well Below Market Value***Good Honest & Reliable Grading*** 1923-S Mercury Head Dime NGC Uncirculated DetailsImproperly Cleaned Pristine White-Looking Coin With A Light Patina Of Golden-Yellow Toning. Very Attractive & Pleasing To The Naked Eye, Well Struck With Nice Full Rounded Split Bands. For What It's Worth, The Coin Was Originally "ANACS FSB", & They Do Appear That Way To Me-See Reverse Photo. The Coin Would Probably Have Graded In The Lower To Mid-Sixities If Not Cleaned. {Lower Mintage (6,440,000) Mercury Head Dime} Lots Of Gorgeous Mint Luster, With A Touch Of Light Yellow-Golden Toning. Many Scattered Tiny Hairlines, Mostly Visible In The Obverse Fields Under The Loupe & A Tad Too Much Shine, Are Indications Of The Coin Having Been Cleaned. The Dark Area In The Photo (Reverse Upper-Right Field) Is Actually A Patch Of Heavy Die-Polishing Marks/Planchet Flaw (The Area Appears Darker Only In The Photo). Minimal Amount Of Some Very Small Scattered Ticks & Marks On Obverse & Reverse, Typical For This Type, With No Major Marks. Lots Of Natural Glitter & Eye Appeal. Nicely Graded By NGC, Makes A Fine Addition To Any Collection! {Blazing & Bright / Attractive & Lustrous} The Picture Doesn't Capture The True Luster Or Do Justice To
