This 1923 Peace Dollar was designed by Anthony de Francisci, a medalist. His monogram is located under the neck of Liberty above the last number. This is a circulated coin. I am not a professional coin dealer or grader so please look carefully at the coin. This was found along with several others in an old purse of Grammy's. Please excuse the poor pictures, I have a terrible time with the glare from the silver-but I am trying to do better. There are three rays under the number one on the back side of the coin. The grooves on the edge of the coin are prominent and can easily be felt. The lines on the face side of the coin seem to be stronger than those on the eagle side.
