Up for bid is this Very Nice Tiffany Sterling Silver Two-Piece Roast Carving Set in the Windham Pattern introduced by Tiffany in 1923. I believe this set was hardly ever used as the carving blade has such a nice brilliance to it. The Windham pattern was named for the Connecticut County that was the boyhood home of Charles Louis Tiffany, founder of Tiffany & Company. The Windham pattern recalls the graceful styling of the 1920's. They are described as follows: Ø Large Sterling Silver Carving Knife - 14 ¼" Long, - 5.0 oz. Ø Large Sterling Silver Carving Fork, 11" Long - 3.9 oz. Ø Monogrammed with the letter "B" T are light scratches on them of course and one noticeable one (as shown) on the knife handle. This is a very nice looking set considering they are over 80 years old. If someone out t has any additional information on this item please send to me through the auction site and I will gladly post for others interested in this item. Everything I sell is from my parent's estate, which includes a vast assortment of unusual items they acquired in the 1970-1980's when they had their Antique/Collectibles store in Portland and Scappoose Oregon. Most of the items had been in storage, some wrapped in newspaper dated as far back as 1972! It's just like Christmas unpacking and finding these treasures. Additional Pictures or Questions?
