1923 White Mountain Ice Cream Freezer Vintage Churn

Offered for auction is this great old Vintage Ice Cream Freezer. It is a White Mountain Freezer and the patent date is June 2, 1923. The wooden bucket is green in color and measures 8 inch tall and 7 inches across. The original diamond shaped label is gone, but you can see the mark w it was (see picture). The bucket shows some wear from age - but in my opinion, has a nice vintage patina. The metal bands show some rust, which I have left alone! It has a metal handle with a wooden grip - intact and in good condition. The metal "latches" that hold the crank are in good condition. The inside of the bucket shows some wear and discoloration from use. The 6 1/4" metal cannister is in VERY GOOD condition! The inside is shiny and clean! The metal and wood paddles that go inside the cannister to mix it are in EXCELLENT condition - frankly don't show much use! The metal is shiny and the wooden panels show NO discoloration like you would expect from use. The metal lid for the cannister is also in Very Good condition - and is embossed with the words: White Mountain Freezer Triple Motion, 1XG, Made in USA, PAT. June 2, 1923. The crank works great - turns freely. T is some surface rust around the 2 screws that hold the cap on. (see picture). The crank has a wooden handle which is also in very good condition. In raised lettering on the top it reads: White Mountain Freezer. It all fits together nicely and works well! I have never seen one this size - I believe it is a ONE Quart Freezer. This would be a great display item in a Vintage Kitchen and a wonderful addition to your Vintage Kitchen Collectibles. I imagine it is very usable - but frankly, I would not use it - too great of a collectible! Please feel free to email me with questions, which I will attempt to answer. THANKS FOR LOOKING!
