Here is a very nice old patriotic multi-part medal made of bronze, I believe, in quite splendid condition overall, measuring app. 3" by 1 & 5/8", with an intact pin and clasp at the back of the top portion. It shows hardly any wear really, with only a few tiny imperfections and freckles nothing serious, and I have not cleaned it in any manner, some of the photos having been "enhanced" for clarity. The top of the medal features a blank rectangular bar, perhaps for engraving, with a wreath behind, a small round seal of the state of Pennsylvania beneath. The bar is connected to a bottom medal, which pictures a fine statue of a fireman in uniform on a pedestal, that lower section with a scene of firemen battling a fire with the aid of a ladder and water hose. "Memorial To The Volunteer Firemen Of Harrisburg Who Served In The World War - June 21 - 1924" is at the bottom. The reverse of that medal pictures a triumphant, radiant gowned angel or Victory blowing a horn and holding a laurel wreath aloft. At her left is the date "1917" on a shield with a sword behind and a wreath around, while the right side has the date "1919" with an anchor behind its shield. There is a world globe at the bottom, with "World War" at the sides. Excellent! $4.99
