This generator is in great condition and shows little if any use. This unit sold for $12.50 on 3-21-24 with advertisment and sales tag included. Marvel sold four different sets with all having the same generator. The difference was the number of included glass applicators, wands or electrodes. This set is called the "Super Marvel" and originally included three applicators which are the surface, comb and throat. T is an included instruction book that lists all their different wands as well as the proper treatment for the forty or so ailments that this will cure. I tested all three applicators and they all perform properly and the adjusting knob on the generator works fine and increases and decreases the Violet Ray discharge. Pictured is one wand on full discharge in the dark without a camera flash to show the color. What you cannot see are the discharge "bolts" which "shoot" approx. 1/2" when held to the skin. The instructions refers to this as: "The violet ray discharge is powerful and highly diffused without any disagreeable kick". The cloth covered power cord is also in great shape and the original box is included. This box is in good condition with outside edge wear and a satin lined interior that shows fading. This is being sold as a Quack Medicine collector item and not as a device that will in any way cure medical problems. The discharge although may appear harmful is actually harmless with small voltage.
