Selling a program from a horse racing track in Kentucky from 1925. The Raceland track was located about 6-8 miles outside Ashland, KY. The track was on one side of the road and a dormitory for the jockeys was on the opposite track....it's long gone now. I'm told that the man who designed Raceland also went on to design Keeneland Race Track in Lexington, Ky. In fact, the program lists the track's general manager as J. O. Keene. This program is 10 inches tall and 3 3/4 inches wide. Front says, "Summer Meeting, 1925....Official Program...Raceland..." with other writing. This was the fifth day of that racing season, July 14, 1925. Seven races were on the slate for that day. The pages in the program are loose, but it's all there. The back of the program is advertising that the 17th would be "Ladies' Day" and ladies would be admitted free. Buyer agrees to pay $3 s/h. I accept Paypal, cashiers checks, and personal checks. Personal checks must clear bank. United States only.
