With 40 black and white illustrations, a folding map frontispiece and 3 folding maps and plans. There are 22 pages of advertisement at rear Size of Book 18cm x 12.5cm/7in x 5in Book Description Very good (+) publisher’s original green cloth covers with titles in black on the spine and front cover. Very slight wear at head and tail of spine, a tiny bump to the bottom right hand corner. The text in very good condition with no foxing, marks or other blemishes. The cloth of the cover is slightly darker green than shown in the digital image. A very good, bright copy of this scarce item. About this Book This is a copy of Cook’s excellent guide to travel to Peking, North China, South Manchuria and Korea. The guide gives general local information, indicates places of interest and provides detailed sightseeing instructions for Peking, visiting the Great Wall, Tientsin (Tianjin), Port Arthur, Darien, Fusan and Mukden in Manchuria, and of particular interest is the extensive section on Chosen (Korea) and Seoul. Many pages of interesting period advetisements.
