Antique Pocket Watch Material Cabinet Wow! This auction is for a very rare pocket watch material cabinet that was sold by the Elgin National Watch Company in the 1920s or so. The cabinet has four drawers and it is filled with just about every small piece that you'd ever need to keep your Elgin pocket watch running. Each tray is filled with little glass vials and jars that have parts inside them. Then, t is a cardboard reference sheet that can be used to find the appropriate part for your watch. It includes things like balance staffs, all types of jewels, screws, replacement hands, washers and much much more. Then, in the bottom drawer t are a bunch of mainsprings. The references have prices on them for parts and the prices were effective in 1927. Cabinet measures about 13½" wide x 9½" deep and 9½" tall. In good condition with the original plaque on the front. Many bottles are empty, but t are still a bunch of pieces in ! The third drawer down is completely empty. Two of the drawer knobs are missing.
