Beautiful looking 1920's, possibly 1927 Pontiac Chieftan hood ornament car mascot. Overall good condition. Great display item. This one was made into a paperweight or decorator item as it has what appears to be lead filling in the bottom, open area. This could most likely be removed, but it makes a great display piece. The Indian chief's face is a copper or bronze finish while the rest is a chrome or nickel type of a finish. T are some surface cracks to the finish but no pitting. Still displays quite well. I obtained a grouping of antique hood ornaments or car mascots from an estate and don't know much about them, particularly the makes, models and cars that these went to or if the moto meters are in working order or not. I am offering these as collector items for display, collection or perhaps for the restoration of a classic or antique car, but I don't know the operating conditions. Buyer to pay for postage, delivery confirmation and insurance is optional. Payment to be received within 7 days of auction close via money order.
