A very unusual hallmarked 1927 solid silver News of the World Fob. The assaye is for Birmingham with the maker's mark AR&S for A Roden & Son, Hatton Garden, London so the pedigree is superb. The date letter is 'C' for 1927-28. The obverse is a lion beside a seated Britannia with a laurel wreath and hallmark on the reverse. The legend reads 'My First Medal' Presented by The News of the World. The fob is 25mm in diameter and weighs 8.41 grammes. The fob is in really good condition but please use the photos to judge. A rare piece of News of the World memorabilia. I will always combine postage so please view my other items.
