1927 YANKEES Reach Ornament AMERICAN LEAGUE CHAMPS
One of the SCARCEST 1927 New York Yankees artifacts you will ever see. This "American League Champions" ornament was manufactured by A.J. Reach Sporting Goods Co. and hails from the New York Yankees greatest season. This 13-1/4” piece was intended to either serve as a trophy bracelet or necklace and features a long chain and a brass baseball. The baseball is inscribed on one panel "A.L. CHAMPS 1927" and the other panel with the initials CLM . The bottom of the metal baseball is raised lettering and the familiar Reach company shield logo with the word "REACH" surrounded by their motto "The Sign of Quality" - "Trademark" . Very-well made for the period, most likely designed for players and team personnel, this relic is in beautiful excellent condition with no visible damage. This is an outstanding piece of vintage baseball jewelry and comes form the height of the Yankees Dynasty and in relation to the greatest team in sports history when Babe Ruth, Lou Gehrig and Murderers Row steamrolled the entire league to capture the World Series Championship. The 1st one of its kind that I have ever seen and perhaps the singular example exant. An absolute must have for the Yankee fanatic. I offer a 7 day, no questions asked return policy.
