1928-1947 original and vintage college football ticket stub lot of three (3) ticket stubs as follows: November 3, 1928 Holy Cross vs. Brown at Brown Field in excellent condition ( has two horizontal creases at bottom of ticket and upper right corner of ticket is missing)-Brown won 6-0.Members of the 1926 Brown "Iron Men" team still with Brown are Thurston Towle, Paul Hodge, Charles Considine, Lou Farber, E Kevorkian, Al Hornsweet and Ed Lawrence. Holy Cross notables are Henry Shanahan, Stanley Weiss , Clarence " Blondy Ryan" and one of the best all-around players in the East, was captain Richard Phelan. November 28, 1940 ( Thanksgiving morning) Columbia vs. Brown in excellent plus condition ( has paper residue on the back of ticket) played at Brown Field with the game ending in a 0-0 tie in freezing temperatures with howling snow. Columbia held Brown inches from the goal in the last period. Columbia notables are Paul Governali ( played in NFL for NY Giants), Don Snavely, Joe Siegal, Don Levy, Hugh Barber, Thorn Wood and Augie DeAugustinis. Brown notables are Broniscaw Stepczyk, Ernie Savignano, John O'Leary, John Marsolini and Stew MacNeil. November 22, 1947 Fordham vs. Holy Cross at Holy Cross Stadium in excellent plus condition.Holy Cross won 48-0. Nice addition to any collection. Buyer pays fixed mailing cost of $1.75.
