1928 Art Deco Sterling Cigarette Case BIRMINGHAM DESCRIPTION Up for auction is this lovely art deco Sterling Silver Cigarette Case. It is hallmarked on two places on the outside edge. The anchor indicated that it was made in Birmingham, the Lion Passant indicates it is sterling, and the date mark lets us know that it was made in 1928 / 29. T is another hallmark that is probably the makers mark but I can't make it out. It has a gorgeous rich colored lining. It measures 3 1/4" X 2 1/2" X 1/4" in depth. This piece is in lovely condition both inside and out.
