FORD 1928 MODEL A CENTENNIAL COMMEMORATIVE MEDALLION The coin is minted in a brass alloy and given an antique bronze finish and is provided in a special sleeve. This custom printed and die cut sleeve also acts as a display card. The medallion is encased in a protective plastic capsule to preserve it's lustrous finish. Like many men with vision, Henry Ford relied on a combination of gut instinct and pioneering spirit. Yet the success of the Model T had so dramatically confirmed the Ford name and products as an American legend that it became nearly impossible for Henry Ford to let go of the Model T.
