The high bid takes this note home. 1929 small size national bank notes from The McCloud National Bank of California are rather difficult to acquire. The number of small size notes known to exist from here now moves to 27 with the addition of this note. However, 18 of those notes are tied up in serial number 1 sheets that couldn't be bought for less than five figures. That leaves nine other collector notes out there. According to the census, this VF- note is the nicest of that group. This note has no problems and I feel very confident that it would grade a 20 at a third party grading service.
