Small-size $20 Type 1 National Bank Note from The First National Bank of Marietta , Ohio, series of 1929, with brown seal and serial numbers.PCGS has graded this note Apparent Fine 15, with the comment 'ink marks on face and back' on its holder.The charter number for this bank is 142. Bank serial # is A000817A . Friedberg # is 1802-1.Only 53 known examples of these $20 Type 1 notes are known on this particular charter and title, according to December 2015 data from the National Bank Note census.Here at DBR Currency, we believe that the rarity of paper money has not yet been fully appreciated, and that the larger coin market will drive paper-money values higher over time.Note: California buyers must pay 8.00% sales tax.
