Federal Reserve Bank Note 1929 $50 Cleveland Star. PMG45A few auctions ago Heritage said out of the approximate 30 known an XF was in the top 5 graded for a $50 star for the Cleveland district.I think AU is the highest. As far as I know there are not any uncirculated $50 Cleveland stars. I do not have access to the census at this time. There is a PMG55 listed as best known Cleveland Star for this district on ebay for a buy it now of $2800.I believe the center fold on that note is more noticeable then the fold on this note. You look at both and decide for yourself. This note was marked as staple holes. There are two small holes. Heritage described them as pin holes because they are so small.I show them in the last few pictures. I marked the holder in black to show were they are. This is a very nice clean star note and could easily pass for a very nice AU.Please look at the pictures and you decide how nice it looks. I think it is very nice note. The pin holes do not detract from it's clean fresh look. The note will be sent US Priority Mail, insured with a tracking number. It will need to be signed for. If no one is home they will not leave it.They will leave a card which you will need to take to your post office and pick it up.You get the note in the pictures. Please ask any questions before bidding or call 772-492-8685. Thank you.
