Up for auction is a fascinating piece of postal aviation history, an announcement letter by Imperial Airways Cairo office to the Jerusalem office of American Express announcing the opening of the England - India Route. Received in Jerusalem April 10, 1929, the letter was answered the same day. Auction includes not only the first day cover, but also the accompanying letter and its response. Condition of all three items is excellent. Please message me with questions and see my other listings for more stamps coming out of a collection assembled by my great uncle who passed away in 1983. I just found these in the back of a closet.
