1929 Original Illustration painting Buffalo Billy Cody Forbes Litho Co. advertisement painting . . . - here’s a great old 1920s Original painting oil on board unsigned great but mentioned in the advertisement booklet - booklet is also included .. - subject is of William Buffalo Bill Cody - in his hat and jacket . . . . .has Forbes Litho Co. label on back …. numbered .. . on illustration board . . size image is approx. 14” by 18” – board is about 17-1/2” by 24” -- No Frame but ready fro display in any studio or gallery or home .. .. . .light paint wear .. I also have the Sitting Bull Painting on eBay too - both were painted in the late 1920s probably 1928-1929 for the Forbes Litho Company used in several advertising programs one was a cereal box top give away where you would send in several cereal box tops and get a booklet with one Great American and their story such as Buffalo Bill Cody or Teddy Roosevelt – sitting Bull etc … .
