1930’s/40‘s Vintage KNICKERBOCKER STUFFED MOHAIR LAMB - Animals of Distinction This beautiful mohair Knickerbocker lamb has brown hard plastic eyes with black pupils, pink velvet lined ears, swivel head and original bow. Our old, seldom seen lamb is in excellent condition and measures 15” long to the tip of its tail. This precious life-like lamb is an early "Animals of Distinction" creation. Made sometime in 1930’s or 1940’s, our vintage Knickerbocker stuffed mohair lamb is uber adorable. The details of this sweet faced lamb are wonderful. Poseable Head. Fine ivory mohair. Cute felt muzzle with embroidered details. haunting button eyes. Pink flannel lined ears. Original Pink satin ribbon. Painted hoofs. An excellent, very life-like sculpture. The name "Knickerbocker" was derived from the nickname given to Dutch settlers in New York who tended to wear the puffed knickerbocker trousers.
