At approximately 80 years of age, this rare signed and numbered Benrus is in exceptional condition. The FHF 344 movement was first available in 1925, and this one is also shock-protected. It is likely one of Benrus' first watches. The watch has been cleaned, oiled, and timed and is guaranteed to operate properly without further maintenance of adjustment. It watch winds, sets, and runs effortlessly, and is accurate. Though originally designed for men, the clean lines of its contoured tank-style case look great on any wrist. The components all show the same light, even wear, and appear to be the factory originals. The all stainless steel case is fully signed and numbered "BENRUS WATCH Co SWISS STAINLESS STEEL 4525". The coral dial is also signed "SWISS" at 6:00. Benrus later used cases from numerous sources (many were unsigned to disguise their American origin). The crystal has a few scratches but still look great. There is a small scuff on the crown. The watch is in well-cared-for condition, having been unworn and properly stored for decades. The case measures 21mm X 38mm including the crown, and this watch will fit wrists of up to 7-3/4". Please visit my store to view other listings, and take up to 7 days to pay for any item.
