1930 MARMON SIXTEEN 4-PAGE DEALER ADVERTISING BROCHURE

Marmon Motor Co., Indianapolis, Indiana. Great Art Deco Item. Please NOTE: My scanner does not handle metallic finishes well. All of the grey area seen in the scans are actually printed in aluminumized ink, an ultra-modern advertising trend of the day. From the inside: "The Marmon Sixteen...It has speed standing still...It has power parked at the curb...It has eagerness long before it is in motion...It will do more than any automobile has ever done...Merely a sight of it promises more than any other automobile has ever promised..." The Marmon Sixteen was a car that Howard C. Marmon had worked on for 4 years. Aluminum engine with 200 HP, the highest power-weight ratio of any car. 145 inch wheelbase.

This brochure measures approximately 8 1/2" x 11 1/2 ". Excellent condition. Very Clean. No tears, stains, or creases. The paper is white and very flexible, with no age toning or brown spots. Staple holes in left margin.
