we have an amazing 128 page soft-cover book with amazing color lithograph covers from the Students Travel Club - featuring all the information you could possibly want to know about their 1930 trip to Europe, including the Passion Play at Oberammergau. T is information about the ships, the trips, the four banner sailings, motor tours, European hotels, sightseeing, daily itineraries, prices, photographs, and other travel information. The original owner of this book did take the trip and attended the Passion Play at Oberammergau - bringing back the book from that event, as well. It is 140 pages. Not only did she attend, but she also took notes in many of the margins - detailing her feelings about the play as it progressed and critiquing the performers (an example is shown in one of the photos - she did not deface the book - just made small notations). Both books are in rare excellent condition! Paypal is the only formof payment accepted at this time. Payment must be received within ten days. Unpaid items will be handled through eBay's Unpaid Item process. Please wait for my invoice for the best possible shipping cost on combined items. I ship via the USPS and Fedex, depending on size, weight, and your location. I usually ship USPS items within a few working days (Wednesday - Thursday) with the smaller items. I ship Fedex items within 4-6 working days on Thursday or Friday with the larger or heavy items. BIDDERS FROM ALASKA AND HAWAII: Many of my flat rate shipping quotes are based on Fedex rates to the 48 contiguous U.S. States. I will not use Fedex to ship to Alaska or Hawaii because it it outrageously expensive. If you are interested in a large (frames, trunks, furniture) or heavy (cast iron, tools) item - contact me for a USPS shipping rate. USPS rates will be higher. For the larger/heavy items: Please understand that shipping can be a long, arduous process for these items. Extra time is needed for large glass, mirrors, or cast iron items. These types of items are particularly susceptible to breakage and require extra attention, care, and time when packing. I try to go to Fedex just once a week because it is a 2 1/2 hour round-trip and I want to get as much t in one shot as I can. Going towards the end of the week gives everyone a good chance to pay before I go. If expedited shipping is needed, please contact me BEFORE the auction ends. For smaller items that can just be dropped at the post office - no problem. But, larger items that are often fragile and take a lot of time to pack - I may not be able to get out any sooner. I am just as eager to send your item as you are to receive it and my feedback does reflect that. Believe me, I need the space! Insurance USPS: Insurance is always optional, but recommended for glassware and pottery. If you choose not to purchase insurance, I will not be held responsible for a broken or lost item. FEDEX: Insurance is included in the shipping price up to $100 of value. On your invoice, you will see an optional $2.50 charge in the insurance area. This charge is for Direct Signature Verification. Fedex often leaves packages outside your home. If you have any fear that your item will be stolen, Direct Signature is highly recommended. If you need to sign for it, they can't just leave it.
