Ertl diecast vehicle in 1:43 scale- perfect for your O scale, On2, On3, On30 or Lionel railroad 1930 Chevrolet custom truck w/tarped load 's a great item for your railroad or diecast collection- a '30 Chev truck from Ertl . This truck will look great on your railroad layout or diorama- on the farm or ranch, at the elevator or feedstore, on the road.
I custom-weatd and detail-painted this truck (by hand, using washes and chalks) to get rid of the 'toy' look. Now it's showing its age with fading all over; the tarp is weatd and weatd & has been 'patched'! (Actually, this used to be a coin bank). Rubber tires are on factory rims. The load of "barrels & crates" shows from the rear; these were weatd & painted, too, so as not to look so molded in. This makes a nice truck for your display now....... I'm showing this truck on my diorama, so you can see how it might look on your layout or diorama- working hard! Item is described as accurately as possible, but sold as-is.
