Champleve 1929 Graham-Paige radiator body trim emblem in chipped but good condition. There is a DL Auld rear makers mark. The ruled scale in the picture is graduated in inches. Please check the pictures and email me with any questions. I will refund the moneys sent minus the shipping and ebay costs upon return of the item in the same condition as sent. Payment must be received within 5 days of auction's close unless other arrangements are agreed upon by buyer and myself. I will combine multiple purchases into one shipping charge. Please contact me after the sale for the combined shipping charge. A Note on champleve, cloisonne and enamel. I've had a lot of people email me asking me what the heck I mean by champleve when referring to emblems, so here we go. I used to call emblems containing glass cloisonne until I was corrected by one of the premier emblem restorers in California. She counseled me on the error of my ways and I promised her I'd correct my word usage. Champleve: An emblem-to-be is die stamped into a softer metal like copper or brass alloys. A glass paste of tiny glass balls of the desired color is applied into the channels in the emblem. The piece is fired to melt the glass into a thin skin on the emblem. Small patterns on the surface of the emblem promote adherence of the glass. Cloisonne: Small wires are soldered
