This listing is for one of my dear friends treasured dolls.I am slowly listing her entire collection.We are leaving them just as she displayed and left them.This is her Shirley Temple doll by Ideal .So let me tell you what I know about this doll.My friend was so excited when she found this doll just as you see her in Reno Nevada a good many years ago.She was made by Ideal in mid to late 1930s.She measures 18 inches tall.She is all composition.She is marked on her head and her back.Clothes are all original to the doll.The dress has part of the tag on the front and she has her original pinback which does have brown spots.Her dress is faded and elastic stretched out in the armsShoes are very wornThe wig is mused but full.There is a crack going up from her eyes.Her eyes are crackled.There is a a big peeling place and a Crack on the back of her leg.The other upper leg is damaged from age tooThere is crazing on her legs.There is a ding on her nose.So while she isn't a perfect or mint doll she is pretty and displays well .She does have some cracks and crazing.My friend bought her dolls for pleasure and not as an investment... As she believed dolls deserve respect for just having survived the years of play and love of their small owners. They brought her such joy and we hope they continue to do so in their new homes.Please ask questions
