I have banks manufactured by AC Williams, Hubley, Astro/Duro, Chein, Arcade , J&E Stevens, Judd, Kenton and many more. I have branched out into some of my other cast iron interests, mainly doorstops & paperweights but I have some unexpected surprises as well. Check out the Rare C1910's Hubley # 89 cast iron wall clock $300, Hubley c1920 mammy doorstop $300 in 1999!! Also the c1920 Judd Johnny Griffith tie rack, last one I sold for $ 250+. You are bidding on a c1930 American combination safe bank made out of tin. Has Pat Applied for stamped on the inside of the door (see pix). It's in excellent shape for a 70+ yr old. The paint is 96%+ intact, only a few scratches & scrapes with light ware over all, the front is a bit crazed but this is par for the course with this bank, I haven't seen on with out it. The combo mechanism works, set it to 5 & slide the lever to the right & it opens right up! It will arrive open. This guy is played with so the finish has some ware but 85% intact. Still has most of the original label on the bottom though!!! This bank is in excellent condition with no cracks, chips, breaks, repairs or damage of any kind. The surface finish is 100% original - it has never been restored, repainted, touched up or altered in any way. 5 1/2" high x 4 1/4 " wide . Pictured in Don Duers Penny banks #1164 pg. 143 with C scarcity rating which values it from $75 - $150 in 1997. I suggest to the winner to print a copy of this auction, it will increase the resale value of your purchase tremendously having this information as a hard copy along with the bank. You are paying for this information, make use of it! Plus it's fun to look back in 20 years and say I only paid $200 for that way back when. Most of the banks today selling for $200-$400 were $15-$50 in the mid 1970's, big money when the reference guides I have were printed. Please ask any and all questions before auction ends. No refunds for buyer's remorse. Items are photographed and described accurately. YOU MUST CONTACT ME WITH IN THREE DAY'S OF AUCTION END OR I RESERVE THE RIGHT TO CANCEL THE AUCTION & RELIST. I WILL LEAVE NEGATIVE FEED BACK. DON'T BID IF YOU ARE NOT GOING TO PAY FOR THE AUCTION. I HAVE HAD QUITE A FEW NON-PAYING BIDDERS, PLEASE DON'T BE ONE!!! Payment due in 10 days. International rates are extended. Shipped via USPS priority without insurance unless requested. Sel...
