I offer this handmade Yo-Yo quilt made in New England in the 1930's by my grandmother. It is in very good condition for all its years - a few undone yo-yo's but none are torn. It has been stored for years - years - in a zippered plastic cover and it smells like it. I have no doubt that when this qult is cleaned and restitched by the right loving hands it will be beautiful once again. The Yo-Yo's are small and, for the most part, tight. I love the fabrics - all cotton prints so indicative of years gone by. This would be beautiful hanging on a wall or over a twin bed. My desire for a more minimal - zen - life encourages me to find a new home for this piece of art. It really is. 76' by 86" with straight edges all around. I have used the USPS shipping calculator to figure postage. This quilt weighs a solid 5 pounds! ! PayPal only and please ONLY bid if you can pay quickly - no games! I do not ship outside the continental US. I welcome questions but do so before bidding. No returns. I will be away for a couple of days at the end of the listing and will not be able to ship until Tuesday August 10 bu wll do so if paid for!
