c.1930'sOld Man and Woman Peasant Couple2 = Antique - Vintage Handmade Stockinette DollsBERNARD RAVCACharacter Dolls - Elderly Man and Woman Couple Peasant/Peddlers with needle sculptured faces, painted features, original clothing, wood clog shoes.Man has black hat, red vest WRITTEN ON THE VEST B. RAVCA, multi-color tie, nylon stockings, Made in France tag sewn on the back of his jacket. Hang tag says, "Original Ravca Paris, signed Franchecomte' Bernard Ravca".Woman has cream color head cover, lace collar over dress with velvet trim, apron. Hang tag says, "Original Ravca Paris, signed Brittany Bernard Ravca".Both dolls are from the estate of a doll collector.Each one 10" TallBoth old dolls were made in Paris, France according to their original SIGNED HANG TAGS.Condition of the dolls is as shown in the photos with this listing. Some fuzz and lint, soiling and some small marks here and there, the apron fabric discolored, small hole in red vest, overall some rub and scuff, has age and use wear to be expected of dolls this old; not possible to say all so please view photos as they are considered part of the description. Buy with confidence as I offer 100% satisfaction guarantee. Dolls are not dated, however, I did online research and believe they are circa 1930's.
