This was one of the belongings of my great Aunt Lillian. She was a shrewd old gal that seemed to be at least 190 years old when I was a kid. She was way ahead of her her time..passionate marriages, successful divorces and an eye for stock and valuable goods. Vintage Ruby Glass Cocktail Set W/ Bakelite Handle This is a stunning authentic Art Deco Set to make Cocktails for two. The Cocktail Set consists of the Shaker, two glasses and the tray. The fine Set is in excellent condition. T are no dings, dents or scratches to any of the chrome pieces. The Ruby Red Stemmed Glassware have a few flaws made during production and seen in picture number 5. The two Ruby Cocktail Glasses are very unique in the fact that they unscrew from the stemmed chrome base. Each Ruby Red Stemmed Glass hold 3 ounces. The deep Red glass is patterned with flared panels leading to the rims. I note two areas,as in the photos, w the glass separated during processing. This is absolutely not a crack, chip or hairline. The glass is not sharp or jagged what-so-ever, but needed to be mentioned. I would still consider this set in perfect Vintage condition and a very respectable Holiday gift.
