Shown is an original Borden's "MALTED MILK" glass jar, with the hard to find lid! I believe this large, heavy glass jar is from the 1930s. They were used at Soda Fountains and Country Stores. It is NOT chipped or cracked, but is missing the Borden's label that is applied to the space on the front. I have seen the labels occasionally at antique shows. The jar stands about 9" high with the lid, and is 6 1/2" wide at the base. The embossed metal lid has a nice aged patina. I have not cleaned or polished it. This scarce Borden's counter top jar will display well. Due to the weight, the fixed U.S. s/h will be $10.00, with Delivery Confirmation. BE SURE TO CHECK MY OTHER AUCTIONS! I WILL COMBINE S/H.
