This is a unique piece of Coca Cola memorabilia. A 1930's Door lock which also was a door opener and it is in the original box. You can find it in Petretti's 2001 edition valued at $85 on page 370 and I am sure it has increased in value over the last 7 years. I am on ebay all the time and don't remember ever seeing this lock/opener much less in the original box which measures 2 inches wide, 4 inches long and 1/2 inches deep. I found it at a Coca Cola auction about 20 years ago and for it's 70+ year age it is all in remarkable shape. I hate it but I couldn't get a good picture of the opener because of the glare from the metal but it has Drink Coca Cola in Bottles and Delicious and Refreshing embossed on the opener/lock. It is in like new shape and you will be pleased if you purchase it. The box displays great and except for one of the tabs being off it is in remarkable shape. The tab is t but I didn't want to tape it on I just always put it on the end of the box, the new owner can tape it on if they want. The box reads: Drink Coca Cola in Bottles and Coca Cola Bottling Company along with 9,000,000 drinks daily on one the back panel, the front panel reads Protected by United States and Canadian Patents, Kam-INDORE Safety Lock, Opens the Bottle, Locks the Door, The Lock That Can't be Picked, For Privacy For Security, For Homes, Hotels, Stores, Offices, Etc, Distributed by Coca Cola Bottling Company, the sides read Fool Proof - Lasts a Lifetime, Attached Without Screws or Tools, Fits all Doors and the tab that is off reads Price 50 Cents. IT IS A BOTTLE OPENER ALSO NOT A DOOR OPENER, JUST NOTICED THE ERROR IN MY INITIAL LISTING. ALSO THE SPOT ON THE OPENER/LOCK IS A STICKER TYPE RESIDUE THAT I THINK WILL RUB OFF.
