It's that time again to sell some of my 200 plus pipes. I can't smoke them all so I am letting this wonderful piece of Dunhill history go to a deserving home. Anyone who knows Dunhill knows of this wonderful era pipe. The stem and nomenclature shows it to be from the glorious 1930's era. Unfortunately the original owner buffed the shank so the nomenclature is hardly readable. But as the pictures hopefully show the overall condition is excellent. The rim is cleaned with no buffing or charring, the stem fits the shank flawlessly, the ivory dot is intact and the cross-cut grain is impeccable. Please note the small chip on the lip. It is not cracked. I have smoked the pipe for years and no crack ever formed. The bowl height for this group 4 piece is 1 11/16 in., rim diameter is 1 3/16 in. and the overall length of the pipe is 6 inches. If for any reason this pipe isn't one of you very best smokers send it back and I'll keep it because it smokes beautifully.
