1930s Halloween Jack-O-Lantern Candy Container NICE!

For auction is a remarkable Halloween orange jack-olantern, approx 6 1/2 x 5 x 5 inches. Believed to be circa 1930's, this item is made of a papier mache/cardboard-like material. There are no manufacturers markings, but probably German in origin. In the base there is a metal support mechanism for a candle, and the wire carrying loop makes it double as a candy container. Condition is remarkable; the paper insert for eyes, nose, and mouth is intact; no dents; very minor scuffing just visible in the photos. This was acquired from a small collection of similarly vintage Halloween items, and this is oferred as original--not a modern reproduction. Will of course accept returns if the buyer feels otherwise.
