This auction is for an antique Shirley Temple composition doll produced in the 1930's by the U.S.A Ideal Toy Corporation. She is wearing her original shoes and socks and a vintage apron-style dress made from an authentic Shirley Temple pattern with matching panties. Her wig is also original and in great condition with lots of original curls and no bald spots but showing a few threads in front . She has an open mouth with lipstick and six little teeth. All of her fingers and toes are intact, as are her eyelashes. She is marked SHIRLEY TEMPLE on her head and SHIRLEY TEMPLE 18 on her back. She has sleepy eyes which function well and she measures 18 inches in height. Her composition has not been restored and is in good vintage condition with just some light surface crazing at various points and no lifting, cracking, peeling or other major damage. Her eyes are clouded as can be expected with a doll her age. She is strung fairly tight. Overall she is a clean and bright doll and displays nicely! Please look at the photos to help you decide. *This doll is RE-LISTED due to non-payment on previous auction* I will be listing several vintage Shirley dolls this week (mostly 1930's IDEAL composition dolls) so please check back as I do combine shipping. Also, if you would like me to consider a Buy It Now price for the doll, please let me know.
